I wanted a dentist that was affordable and of good quality. You only have one set of teeth and I didn’t want them negatively affected. The provider list was very comprehensive in my area and there were providers within 3 miles of my house and work. I was able to save $1500 on my dental implants and my father in-law saved $1800 on his dentures with these plans. I tried to get a traditional individual dental insurance and I was running up against brick walls with the sign-up process and I was told I’d likely have to wait a year to get the plan activated. My kids will be getting braces and we look forward to saving 20% on the entire cost of orthodontic treatment. I highly recommend these discount dental programs because they really do help you to save money on everything from cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, whitening, fillings, wisdon teeth extractions, oral surgery, braces, gum surgery, and just about every other dental procedure. Comparing the various dental plans in my area was really easy when I could look at them side to side and really see the differences in pricing for different procedures. Studies show that you should go to the dentist for an oral exam, cleaning, and bitewing x-ray every 6-months, although it may no be necessary to get x-rayed more than once per year. Make sure you choose a plan that will let go to a dentist near your house or make need to choose a specialist in you need more advanced type of dental correction. Steps are being taken to correct this issue and soon there should be quality providers in every area of America. |
