Unless you have a discount dental program which will allow you to save a percentage off what you would normally pay for your dental care services. I tried to get a traditional individual dental insurance and I was running up against brick walls with the sign-up process and I was told I’d likely have to wait a year to get the plan activated. If seems that if you do not have a traditional insurance plan through your employer or work, you just simple do not have any type of coverage and you are stuck paying full price. But what I found was that looking online was be far the superior method of hunting down a good dentist in my area. I urge you to investigate discount plans because they are the wave of the future when it comes to saving money at the dentist. Saving anything at a specialist is better than paying full-price I always say. Studies show that you should go to the dentist for an oral exam, cleaning, and bitewing x-ray every 6-months, although it may no be necessary to get x-rayed more than once per year. I highly recommend these discount dental programs because they really do help you to save money on everything from cosmetic dentistry, laser dentistry, whitening, fillings, wisdon teeth extractions, oral surgery, braces, gum surgery, and just about every other dental procedure. Comparing the various dental plans in my area was really easy when I could look at them side to side and really see the differences in pricing for different procedures. My kids will be getting braces and we look forward to saving 20% on the entire cost of orthodontic treatment. |
